Fastwel took part at the annual Embedded World Exhibition&Conference 2008 that was held in Nurnberg, Germany, February 26-28. This is one of the world’s biggest exhibitions for the international embedded community. The event covers automotive, military, telecom, industrial and consumer electronic sector.
Fastwel’s participation at the show gave the good opportunity to introduce its partners and customers a wide range of high-performance SBCs designed in different form factors. In addition to products demonstration at the booth Fastwel gave the interview to ICC Media and presented its company overview and product line. The interview gave a spotlight to several single board computers for mission-critical applications in such spheres as transport, security and defence, telecom, aerospace equipment as well as industrial automation and process control systems. We informed about EPIC CPU board based on Intel Pentium M processor with all standard PC interfaces complemented by PC/104-Plus; PC/104-Plus boards with conduction and convection cooling option; VME 6U CPU board with 2eSST support; Mini-ITX board.
Besides mentioned boards one could see on Fastwel booth CompactPCI, Computer-On-Modules and 3,5” CPU boards. All exhibited products can operate in extended temperature range from -40C to +85C and withstand high level shock and vibration.
