Within the European Electronics Industry Awards 2008 Fastwel was nominated in the category “Manufacturer of the year”. This year Elektra Awards took place in Munich during Electronica Exhibition, which is Europe’s biggest forum for electronics design, manufacturing and services companies. The Awards event was organized by Reed Electronics Group and Electronics Weekly Journal.
According to nominated category Fastwel was the first company to announce and realize VME CPU board combining x86 Processor technology and 2eSST protocol support. This combination is implemented in CPC600 board. Advantages of this hardware combination help to generate solutions for wide range of applications from data acquisition and processing systems in industrial automation to reliable high-performance system consisting of a number of VME boards interconnected via independent data-exchange networks.
Fastwel CPC600 CPU board design was endorsed by embedded industry professionals. Many leading specialized magazines expressed interest to this product by publishing related articles in different languages.
