Fastwel Starts Manufacturing SMARC v1.1 CPC1001 CPU Modules


Fastwel announces the launch of a new device — CPC1001 CPU Module made in the SMARC v1.1 format.

CPC1001 has an implemented high-performance computing core with a wide range of I/O interfaces for building real-time control systems and mission-critical applications.

The CPC1001 module is based on the I. MX 6Quad processor (ARM architecture). It has a 64-bit bus, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory. Connector based on the MXM 3.0 standard provides a wide range of interfaces for such ports as PCIe, USB 2.0, SATA II, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, LVDS, HDMI, SPI, I2C and I2S, SDIO, UART and RTC.

The new product is notable for its small size, low power consumption and is designed specifically for the use in systems with strict requirements for operating conditions. The size of the module together with the heat distribution plate is only 82.0×50.0×8.8 mm. The power consumption at high load does not exceed 5W, and the extreme peak load — 9W. The CPC1001 module is capable of operating in a wide temperature range from -40 to +85 °C and is highly resistant to external factors: vibrations and shocks.
