The Range of Elbrus CPU Based Computers Received 3 Models for Automated Workstations

02.03.2021

The Advantix (powered by Fastwel) has expanded its line of computers based on “Elbrus” CPU architecture with new solutions. In addition to the family of Brusnika industrial computers, Advantix (powered by Fastwel) offers office computers for equipping automated workstations (Automated WS) to operate as part of the information systems with trusted infrastructure. The new products include the entry-level AdvantiX VN-EL1S computer and two versions of powerful computers: VN-EL8S / Automated WS and VN-EL8S / Automated WS-M.

The entry-level automated workstation AdvantiX VN-EL1S is based on an efficient single-core general-purpose processor Elbrus-1C + (1891VM11Ya) with a clock frequency of up to 1000 MHz and an integrated accelerator with 3D graphics support. The system ensures output of high-definition image on 2 monitors with Full HD 1920x1080 resolution or 1 monitor with Quad HD 2560x1440 resolution. By default, the computer is equipped with 8GB of DDR3-1600 ECC RAM (expandable up to 16GB) and a 1TB HDD. The set of interfaces includes an Ethernet network port, 2 x USB 2.0 on the front, 4 x USB 2.0 on the rear panel. If necessary, the computer can be equipped with a monitor, keyboard and mouse. This solution is a perfect choice as a trusted operator's workstation, combining the best value and good expansion options.

Workstations of middle-level operators - VN-EL8S / Automated WS and VN-EL8S / Automated WS-M, are delivered with a new high-performance 8-core CPU of Elbrus 1891VM028 architecture with a clock frequency of up to 1300 MHz. The both workstations are equipped with a discrete graphics card ASUS ATI R7 240-2GD5-L installed into a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot. When it comes to the VN-EL8S / Automated WS-M version, one more M.2 USB slot is available for installing a hardware trusted load module. By default, the device comes with 16 GB DDR3-1600 ECC RAM (expandable up to 32 GB) and 1TB HDD. The VN-EL8S / Automated WS computer uses 16 GB RAM (expandable up to 64 GB), 1 TB HDD and has a broader selection of expansion slots: 2 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots (1 occupied by a discrete graphics card), 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x4 slot , as well as 1 x PCI 2.0 32-bit slot. The available interfaces include: 4 x USB 2.0 on the front panel, 6 x USB 2.0 on the rear panel, HDMI and DVI video outputs, serial RS-232 (DB-9), 3 x LAN ports (RJ45), 5 x audio inputs. Both devices are equipped with a keyboard, mouse and 21.5” monitor and are completely ready to equip high-performance trusted automated workstations.

In the nearest future, Advantix (powered by Fastwel) plans to expand its family of industrial computers with models equipped with the latest 8-core Elbrus processors suitable for those companies, which need a hardware platform ensuring a steady work with valuable information that is subject to reliable storage and protection.
